the site rules !
welcome to stay awake, a boarding school rp that takes place in newport, california. i know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.
one please please respect both the admins and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, i'm sure everyone would like brand new eyes to be a fun and friendly place, not a living hell.
two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to first middle last, all in capitals. for example: REILLY MORGAN O'KEEFE. this just makes things all neat and tidy.
three before you even consider roleplaying, please post your application and wait to be accepted. whoa, wait, before you protest, it's short and easy. relax.
four here at stay awake, we don't believe in a word count. mainly because alexx is lazy and this is her site. so all we ask is that you try to match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with. that's not too much to ask is it?
five one thing that drives ashley crazy is god modding. please please don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it, please please please.
six almost done, sorry about this. please do not stretch the board, either with your signatures or posts. graphics should not be any wider than 400 px. alexx has spent over a millenia making this site pretty and would kill you if you ruined it now.
seven finally, stay awake is rated pg-13. proboards terms and conditions state that you should be over thirteen to sign up, so you should be able to handle any mature topics that happen. if not, don't join, simple. if you ignore this and sign up anyway, don't get offended if you read something you don't like.
